Item Description
With Tsui Hark at the helm, this action packed thriller stars Jet Li as Jet, a young kung fu student who arrives in Los Angeles to meet his master Uncle Tak (Yuen Wah) and to fulfill their dreams of establishing a martial arts school in the U.S. Jet is stranded when he arrives at the Uncle Tak’s door step and the herbal store is boarded up and Uncle Tak has disappeared.Meeting up with May, the banker who is supposed to foreclose the herbal shop and a group of Latino gang members, Jet eventually finds Uncle Tak, who has been injured by one of his former students Johnny, who has been terrorizing the streets, challenging and killing kung fu masters to establish a name for himself. Jet is forced into a final showdown with Johnny.
