Item Description

This album was recorded in Japan and released in 1980 by "Shoody," a female singer who had previously visited Japan as a member of the backing chorus of the American soul/funk band "Commodores. The arrangements were done by keyboardist/arranger Hiroyuki Namba, who is known for his work with Tetsuji Hayashi and Tatsuro Yamashita's band. The album was performed by a group of well-known musicians including Tatsuo Hayashi (dr., guitar), Masaki Matsubara (gt., bass), Akira Okazawa (bass), and Nobu Saito (perc.). This is the best disco/boogie album produced in Japan, including the urban disco "Tokyo Melody", the Japanese disco "Ecstasy", and the cover song "Melodies Of Love ( When The World Turns Blue )" with lyrics by Joe Sample.
