Good performance!
I haven't watched the anime so religiously that I remember the soundtrack, but in case there is a more orchestral soundtrack this will not have quite the same meat to it. That said, the music certainly is pretty and, to the extent that I can tell, the piano arrangements (original?) are made with care both to the source and the nature of the piano. There's a mix of busy and simple tracks, so it's not the same core essence on display throughout the entire 2 CD-listening period.
I expect this will appeal to both fans of the anime and those who appreciate piano music.
