It gives a solid background, but to truly appreciate every detail, you have to play both Persona 3 and Persona 4 or at least watch the anime adaptations.
Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth defies the idea that a game can be either indulgent or intelligent. It's tailored for lovers of Persona and even Etrian Odyssey, without a doubt. But to call Persona Q nothing more than an appeasement of fans' wants is to diminish one of the richest, most robust dungeon crawlers either franchise has seen in years.
If you're a fan of the smt franchise, you have to play this one
This collectors edition is amazing, the case has a premium quality, the soundtracks are good and the illustration book is nice.
The downside to this game is the story it's an side story of the series, with some jokes / plot things that dont relate to the serie, so in the end the game is not that good, but it has some dungeon crawler mechanics and that is good for me.
For fan of persona and etrian
