Excellent controller!!
I recently buyed the bes adapter, the nes model 8bitdo and the famicom 8bitdo.
I have a nes and a famicom 2, I dont remember the real name, but is the japanese top loader, this lets use the nes type controller, in the original famicom is not possible to remove the controller and connect different ones, so if somebody wants to get a famicom look for the toploader version, anyway, the controls included are the bone type, they look like snes controllers, but the cable is so short!!! Its like 40 cm, this is some kind of joke, this felt better than the original controller, I could use the nes controller, but I like to use the controller that was suposse to be used with this console.
When I saw the nes adapter I got excited, specially because the 8bitdo controllers, comes with nes color and famicom color, so its like having original famicom color for my famicom!!!
It plugs no problem and also the controller pairs very easily, the button conf is Y = b, B = a, X = b turbo, A = a turbo, L and R dont do nothing. I am not sure if you can change it, I think with differnt firmware you can change it, but mine came this way, I am happy I dont need to change it.
I tried diffent games, the chouji sentai (power ranger style game) it a 2d action, it works perfectly fine, feels so natural, also with special boku wa dorakyura (dracula kid) also it worked so natural!! I am so happy buying this.
I had never bought and original famicom, but I have seen the originalbox, the 8bitdo has retro style art it looks similar to the old box of the famicom, it comes the mini usb cable with the red color of the controller and a retro style key chain, I am so happy, I will buy again later a nes , famicom 8bitdo controllers so I have 2 for each console.
