Deemo is a rhythm game developed by the independent Taiwanese game developer Rayark Games, and was originally released on iOS and Android mobile platforms in 2013 and re-released in Japan on the PSVita in 2015. Last Recital for the Vita will include additional modes for cooperative and competitive play, an extra story exclusive to this version, and re-animated custscenes.
Each playable song (includes instrumental and vocal music from Taiwan, Japan, South Korea & Hong Kong) features three levels, each given a difficulty rating measured on a scale from 1 - 11. Players are also able to customize the speed of the notes before starting a level.
The title's plot centers around an unnamed little girl that has fallen from an open trapdoor in the sky, and the black, mysterious character named Deemo who plays piano music to grow a special tree sprouting from the piano in order to help the girl escape from the world. As the tree grows, various rooms of the structure open up for the girl, and the player, to explore.

This is the full game Deemo with new animation, new song and a prologue !
If you like rythme-game you need this one in you game library !
The story and the characters are just outstanding! All the song are piano song, and the difficulty is her, if you like challenge this game is for you.
Thanks to Play-Asia for the physical copy of this sumptuous game!
The mobile game Deemo now returns on the PSVITA with it's melodic tunes!
The game is amazing, it has lot's of awesome piano w/o vocals songlist & a story behind it.
Great for rhythmgamers/importers as the menu is straightforward and the story is more like animated/still captured with no vocals.
Finished the Main Story today, and just saying "buy it" isn't enough.
Beautiful art style, nice animations, amazing songs, simple yet emotional story, lovely characters... what else do you want? Maybe the method to unlock songs could a little tiring (you have to play a lot to unlock the last songs) but it deserves when you reach to the final, because it feels like it's really going to end but you don't want to.
I can say that even when I haven't played the After Story yet, so don't hesitate, if you think just for one second to buy it, do it, you won't regret it.
And again, it's thanks to Play-Asia that we can get a physical copy of this wonderful game, so thank you from the botton of my heart ^^
I was blown away by the story, gameplay and soundtrack. After reading a review online I needed to get it. The English translation is pretty good and it's easy to understand what is going on in the story. In order to progress you need to grind but for myself I found it enjoyable and rewarding after clearing Magnolia on hard but Anima is the only one I have yet to clear on the hardest difficulty. Truly this is a masterpiece on the vita in terms of rythym games and it's a shame that it was never released worldwide so that others can add this gem to their collect. A definite must buy for any vita owner!
I realize that there's the mobile version, and I tried it on my Kindle Fire, but I liked the idea of the extra content on this release, the full voice acting (and English subs so I know what's being said) and extra story content apparently. I'm a bit bummed there's apparently quite a bit of DLC songs, songs I won't be getting as I play this on my main US account. But that's okay, as long as it ends up like IA/VT (lots of songs in the vanilla cart) then I'll end up happy with it.
