Good purchase

A good all-in-one set (technically two discs). I had interest in this as most of my friends endorsed the series, but I had not played any of it. As a set, this has allowed me to go back and play the games one-by-one. Please be aware that while the system is not region locked, the download code for Metal Gear Solid will be locked to an account from the region. As mentioned already, simply creating an account for the region (if your native account does not match) will work fine. If you are a fan of the series, I would highly recommend making this purchase - the only excuse being if you'd rather purchase Revengence or MGS5.

Excellent

As a long time MGS fan, I of course have 2-3 copies of each game through various re-releases and ports... As this collection includes every game, fully voiced in japanese, I figured why not jump at the opportunity to play them with Akio Otsuka instead of our beloved David Hayter. Definitely worth the money.

I would also like to point out, unlike previous generations, the PS3 is region free so you can not only play all of these games if you live in the US, it is also possible to create a free japanese PSN account to redeem the PS1 downloads of MGS and MGS Integral.
