The Curse of the Demon Hunter Clan:
Experience the pain, the loss, and hear the cry in Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. Players will play through generations of demon hunters as their family lineage has been tainted with a curse that causes them to die in just two years. Developed by Alfa System and published by Sony Computer Entertainment, Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines is a sequel to 2011 PSP game Ore no Shikabane wo Koete Yuke, the original title known in Japan which means, “Over My Dead Body”. As requested by faithful fans, the game will maintain its famous visual and setting style trademark that resemble Japanese traditional-style artwork while all the characters and the Labyrinth will be rendered in 3D.
To Take Power and The Miraculous Children:
Take on the duty of leading a clan in their journey of breaking the curse that runs in the family and make sure each new generation of the clan is more powerful than the rest. Always be ready to fight when the older generations’ time is up. Manage the clan’s resources to stay alive, send out raiding group to hunt vicious demons while strengthening the clan's stronghold. Construct new weapons and guarantee that the new generations of warriors stand ready to fight an invading army of demons and monsters. In every victory upon the enemies, players will accumulate points that will permit them to marry deities and produce children with them; in just six months these children will mature and will inherit the faces of their parents.

Very nice artstyle and good game system.
But can be repetitive very fast, so, if you're not falling when you're playing the demo, you might not fall for the hype then ^^.
Thank you again Play-Asia for having back some R3/Asian copies (which contains English/French/German) when I have ordered in October :)
Finally was able to get a copy of Oreshika, it's a very interesting & unique RPG game on the Vita with a beautiful art style, I would like to recommend it to JRPG fans to give it a try as it should not be missed.
Oreshika clearly is not game that can be recommended to everyone. Despite the fact that it is very enjoyable... experience from it may vary depending on what you expect from game.
If you are type of person who like to spend even hundred hours on one game and don't mind grinding, than this here is perfect choice for you! If you are looking for shorter games you CAN ALSO pick one of the lowest difficulty that is offered by the game to shorten the time you will have to spend on game BUT! Probably your best choice is picking up "hardest" difficulty offering longest gameplay. Only than you will fully use the potential of game. For example weapon crafting make sense only if you will use those weapons through several generations. If you play on "low" difficulty it is way more rational to just buy weapons from shop which are way stronger that base crafted weapons but don't evolve.
Also it is worth mentioning... that despite the fact that game is supposed to be all about your own clan... in reality you are just a tool to convey a story. Not really saying that is is bad thing... but after spending some hours you will realize that the one and the true MC is.... nope... not infamous Nueko....but your loyal weasel Kochin!
She will run your mannor, give you all kind of advice, comment every more important event... and much more! She can even guide you through battles. Though it's worth mentioning that depending only on your loyal weasel too much will get you nowhere. She helps you but by no means she can be considered as a way to "auto-play" game.
+managing your clan
+long gameplay (100+ h)
+well suited music
+interesting Japanese lore
+SCEE version of game offering FR,ANG,GER subs ( but obviously can't download DLC from EU shop)
+/- randomly generated dungeons (not everything is random so there isn't as big variety as it should have)
- sometimes but not too often the frame rate drops (especially if gods/ancestors want to help you in battle)
- capricious gods (poor Kochin must rewrite list of gods every time one of them decides to descend)
This game is a somewhat simple RPG with exciting elements of evolving your clan and creating new members as the older ones die off due to the curse.
The game's mechanic maybe somewhat simple in execution, but still gives the exciting thrills of old era RPGs.
Be warned though! The dungeons are randomly generated, meaning you need a good memory and/or some graph paper to assist you! (also look for keys!)
