Raiden V turned out to be much better than Raiden 3 or 4 to me, and it rivals 1 & 2, but is a very different and more modern game. So many options, branching story, the best music in the series, cool online functionality, and just a lot of content for a shmup in general. Definitely worth a purchase.
Though this title is a LOT OF FUN and EXCLUSIVE to Xbox One, it could have been much more. It is definitely still worth the pick up per collector or SHUMP addict like myself but not really a good import for casuals.
great game on xbox one, very fun and contains many stuff
Not much to say here...It's another Raiden game.
I was expecting a bit of an upgrade in the graphics department especially for a full retail priced game.
However the gameplay is good, a must have for fans of the genre.
Aaaaaaand it's not like there's much choice on the current consoles.
Great visuals, a fantastic soundtrack and a challenging shmup. Lots of stages and different routes to take in the game. On my first playthrough it took me about 1 hr and 15 min to complete it. And you will be coming back to either beat your high score or try other routes. Remember this is region free so shmup fans have no excuse not to import this game.
