Feels 90% like the Taito Vewlix cabinet layout except...
I just noticed that Hori is really pushing their own in-house Hayabusa buttons instead of the industry standard Sanwa OBF buttons. You can replace them of course but some people just want to plug-&-play out of the box.

About 8 years ago Hori ruled the arcade stick market with their various iterations of the Real Arcade Stick Pro range. However since then they have been very content with their position causing other manufacturers to leap frog them, notably MadCatz, QanBa and to a certain extent, Razer.

Unfortunately this RAP Premium VLX won't make them reclaim their throne just yet...

Amazing Buttons and Stick....but
This arcade stick is amazing. The size, the weight, the layout, and the ability to customize is amazing. That said, the factory defects on all of them worldwide is worth noting at this price. If you don't mind the multiple defects on the metal and plastic pieces, then definitely pick this stick up. I don't regret it at all.
