For those Sega fans who need to get their archives onto a Retro Freak system, this easy to use converter works for Game Gear, Sega Mark III, and SG-1000 cartridges!
The same functions will apply - you can play right off the console or save them into SD storage - literally plug and play.
※ The Retro Freak must be updated, and the links can be found on the official Cyber Gadget Product Page.
※ The update requires a separate microSD.

This works for what's listed, will play all Master System, SG-1000 and MKIII and Game Gear (may have miss-spelled some systems). However I only have Game Gear games but got the adapter for that collection and to potentially collect for these other systems. I think the price is right for the added support of 3 more consoles.
You could use original Master System adapters but I have never seen Game Gear support, so this is the only way to run/load those old games for your TV.
It will let you play or save the game to the Retro Freak, and when used you will unlock a bonus Famicom game! I won't spoil the surprise.
You must update your firmware to V2.0 to use the Adapter, so please follow the instructions on the Cyber Gadget support page. After that the system will prompt you to update the adapter itself, accept the update and it will then load your games.
When buying this thing, the manual come completely in japanese, but it is very easy to use, first clean the cartridge usually I use alocohol on a qtip to clean ( the manual doesnt say this do this at your own risk!) but it really cleans, also the amount of alcohol is very little just get little bit wet the qtip, after using pass a clean qtip to make dry, also make sure it get completely dry.
The open the bottle of the liquid, use on of the qtips included and just put the tip inside super small amount, thats what the manual says, they pass all aroung the catridge circuit that introduces inside the console, it says it has to be very little amount! Them insert the game and take out before turning on, do this like 3 or 4 times, so also the console becomes wet with this liquid, the manual doesnt say it but it is better to wait like 10 mins for the console to get dry, then finally you can try to turn on. It really worked, with some nes games that didnt wanted to turn on.
Also with top loader consoles like the snes, you can clean befores using the liquid. With and old shirt, very thin shirt, cut a piece of cloth, and with plastic card, like an old credit card, put the cloth around the credit card just one layer around, wet little bit with alcohol and enter it like a catridge very slowly and gently ( also at your own risk).
Then clean the game and use the nano liquid. And wow! This thing really works!!
Very recomende! Thats the reason the nes was so difficult to turn on so many years ago! Just because its disty not because is broken!
