Key's sometimes laugh-out-loud humorous and sometimes tear-eyed touching anime series, Angel Beats was one of 2010 Spring season's highest rated shows. The fast pace story bring out the fun, the struggles and everything in between.
Maeda Jun's minimalist style makes his music extremely memorable. The group AVANT-GARDE EYES that performs his compositions, in turn, brings out the mood of the moment in the anime perfectly.

Love this anime/soundtrack
I love the soundtrack and i bought this cause i use it to help me practice most songs on my piano.
Good Soundtrack for fans of the show
"Theme of sss" is still one of my favorite tracks. Has a few good tracks along with the opening and closing song of the anime.
Recommend for fans of the anime otherwise I suggest looking at the single which contains the opening and closing by themselves.

A-Grade Soundtrack for an A-Grade Series!
Angel Beats! is definitely one of the most popular anime series of 2010, and one of the reasons why has to be the soundtrack.
Most of the tracks are instrumentals with the exception of the opening (My Soul, Your Beats!), ending (Brave Song) and a couple of other tracks (track 19 disc 2 for instance). The first and definitely the best track in my opinion is the opening track My Soul, Your Beats! with its combination of piano and electric beat set at a fast pace. From here on, the pace slows down and explores a number of different synthesised sounds along with some piano tracks. The ending theme Brave Song is a soft, reflective piece which wraps up the soundtrack very well.
A mixed bag of themes and emotions suitable for any listener on any day!

A mix of electric beats and orchestral harmony
Angel Beats Original Soundtrack has a few main themes; quirky electric beats or mesmerising orchestral music, it occassionally has modern suspenseful music. The highlights of the CDs are not just My Soul your Beats and Brave Song, but the character and series themes including Theme of SSS and Unjust Life. These are two examples of good orchestral pieces in this set of CDs. If you like something more blood pumping, there's Worthy Rival. Niku Udon is composed of electric quirky beats. Angel Beats Original Sountrack has a variey of moods from elation to melancholy that is bound to suit most people. Jun Maeda has really outdone himself with these CDs.
