This book is a collection of three volumes drawn by Katsuhiro Otomo, the original author and director, out of the huge amount of layouts, original drawings, and original corrections used in the production. It corresponds to the second volume of things.

A layout is a drawing of necessary information for each of the scenes that make up the main part of the anime, and serves as a blueprint for drawing the animation. In addition to recording the original drawings and layouts of "Part B (continued from the previous volume) and the beginning of Part C" of the four parts A, B, C, and D that make up the entire movie, it is completed based on them. In addition, valuable duplicate cels of many famous scenes are also recorded.
