Nice game
Arguably the best to play on PSP, with graphics that was scaled just right and beautiful music. Also the uniqueness of character design both gameplay and style-wise. Just beware not to broke your psp!

Very good conversion to PSP
The best:

Absorbing gameplay alone, thanks to one of the best AIs that have been in the genre in recent years.

-Section audiovisual spectacular preserved intact the original version.

Legion-Mode, the star among the many game modes.

Worst:

-The offer multiplayer is reduced to local Ad-Hoc.

The conversion by Arc System Works has been exemplary, keeping intact all the virtues of the original version intended for desktop platforms with the grateful implementation of the "Legion Mode"

2D fighting just kicked back
This game will probably be compared with Guilty Gear which comes from the same creator. Gameplay is similar, characters are unorthodox and half the time, its confusing as heck to what's going on. But all said and done, this game might be the first PSP fighting game worth mentioning in a long time.

Gameplay is fluid, with ZERO lag despite all kinds of effects on screen. The controls are very responsive and not too demanding. Skills are easily pulled off and for the less dexterous, skills can be mapped to the analog stick for easy access. You get a few game play modes like Arcade, Story, Legion and Score Attack. Worth mentioning is the story mode. It packs a ton of content into the story, with branching paths and multiple endings for all the characters. Its both serious and hilarious at times. Its also pretty long and feels a bit like a RPG game at times. Legion is specific to the PSP only in which you battle across a map, defeating enemies and recruiting characters as you progress.

Multiplayer is a real disappointment as it only supports ad-hoc play for the PSP version, so no online matches for you.

Blazblue on the go!
Probably the best fighting game is given the portable console treatment, and those who missed out on the original, own a PSP, and is a fighting game fan should definitely get this.

Sprites a little jarring but I guess its expected for a portable console version.

Although if you already own the original I don't see why you should be getting this unless you're interested in the Legion Mode, which really is a simple DW:Empires mode, and if you have many friends to play Blazblue Portable together.
