Kirby Super Star Ultra for Nintendo DS re-imagines one of the most beloved Kirby games of all time. Kirby Super Star Ultra features new graphics and fully rendered animated cut scenes. The best Kirby game ever made!
Kirby's Super Star was already the greatest Kirby game ever, but this game took the best and expanded upon it in all the right ways while leaving the original intact. The game is a direct port of the SNES version while improving some of the sprites and giving them more frames and such. No music was "remixed" into midi format which is something Nintendo seems to enjoy doing with their newer games lately. After completing the initial game, you are treated to King Dedede's Revenge which is an expanded version of Spring Breeze, different enough to seem new, but the same enough to the point where you do not have to learn anything new to play through the more difficult version. After this, you can play Meta Knightmare Ultra which allows you to play through all of Kirby Super Star as Meta Knight where he has all his own special powers. There are also 3 versions of the Arena. This game feels like a proper port that has been expanded upon like Zelda 4 Swords for GBA with the inclusion of an entire multiplayer adventure, new dungeon and new powers. The kind of thing that Nintendo seems to do is port a game over and do nothing to expand on it like Zelda Ocarina 3D where they ported the game and changed the graphics and added nothing to the game. Adding the Master Quest to that game was no expansion because the Gamecube version already had that.
Bottom line, Kirby Super Star Ultra is without a doubt the greatest Kirby game ever. The only way this game can improve is by being on a TV instead of being locked to a portable screen.

Great Old School Gameplay
If you like Super Mario games, you will enjoy Kirby: Ultra Super Deluxe game as well. This game is a side scrolling action game with lots of varieties of killing or using your enemies to accomplished certain missions. The graphics presented here are pretty good for the portable ds. Its quite a straight forward & enjoyable game.

A Great Game for Young gamers
Kirby returns in a well polished remake of the greatest in the franchise. Brings wth it the classic five platformer modes and adds a further two (much longer) Into the mix.

With a gentle art style, reasonably low difficulty and catchy score it's an excellent introductory game for young children.

Don't hesitate.
