Designed for solo play or groups of up to four players, the game challenges heroes to survive against overwhelming darkness, battle dangerous monsters, and protect the kingdom of Lumineia from destruction. Players must work together, coordinate their abilities, and stay within the life-saving glow of the mysterious Altar of Light to overcome the growing dangers that lurk in the shadows.
At the heart of the experience is a unique light-versus-darkness mechanic. The Altar of Light protects your sanity and grants powerful buffs, while wandering too far into darkness inflicts fear and damage over time. Every expedition becomes a tense balance between exploration, combat, and survival as players navigate randomized encounters filled with enemies and evolving threats.
As you progress, you'll discover powerful Blessings, endure dangerous Curses, unlock new weapons, and upgrade your heroes to tackle increasingly difficult challenges. The roguelite-inspired progression system encourages replayability, with each adventure presenting different encounters and opportunities for team strategy.
