The story extends beyond the resort into a second reality centered on a deteriorating zoological research facility. There, one of the last surviving caretakers struggles against failing life-support systems and a mysterious parasite threatening the station's future. Guided by a distant voice on the radio, survival becomes a constant battle against decay and isolation.
