Shion Otomo First Photo Book is a photography collection featuring Shion Otomo, a Japanese talent known for her presence in entertainment and media. As her first official photo book release, it presents a curated series of professionally captured images showcasing her personality, charm, and visual appeal.
Shion Otomo, known for his role as Taikei Naotane in the musical "Touken Ranbu" series, has expanded his activities into various fields, appearing in popular stage productions and straight plays, and recently starring in streaming dramas. In September, he will appear as Private Tamama in the Pekopon Invasion Musical "Keroro Genso," making him one of the most promising young actors.
On his 19th birthday, August 10th, he will release his first photobook. To capture Otomo's personal side, the photobook features shots recreating his everyday life in high school, innocently playing with his beloved cats, enjoying a BBQ while glamping, and playing tennis, a sport he has been familiar with since childhood, capturing his true, unadorned self.
Furthermore, since the photoshoot took place in March of this year, just after his high school graduation, the book also includes shots that show his evolution from boy to man. Incorporating Otomo's own ideas, the photobook captures his "future as an actor growing into adulthood" through shots of him exuding presence on a grand stage and fantastical scenes of him in a kimono amidst the neon lights of a city at night. On the other hand, it also explores "what if he had taken a different path?" by portraying him as a university student and an office worker, expressing "an alternate future." The portraits offer a taste of two contrasting stories.
