Item Description

Welcome to Arcade Paradise, the 90’s retro arcade game and light-management sim combo! From cleaning toilets and picking up gum, to doing the laundry; the road to Arcade Paradise isn’t easy, but the reward will be worth the grind!

Take on the role of Ashley and manage the day-to-day tasks of running the family laundromat. Rebel against your father’s wishes and create a games arcade to give the sleepy town of Grindstone something to really get excited about as you wash rags, invest the profits and build your very own Arcade Paradise!

The more arcade cabinets you install, the more players will spend, with over 35 fully playable games to unlock! But remember, you don’t have time to just stand around setting the highest scores… the toilet won’t clean itself and there’s trash to take out!

Relive 90’s gaming nostalgia on your journey from rags to arcade riches!

It's interesting and fun, but gets a bit grindy in places
Arcade Paradise is a cute concept. Start a backrooms arcade behind a laundromat, expand, and you can even play the (bland name knockoff) arcade games!

It's fun for the most part, but gets kind of grindy, especially in regards to acquiring the separate currency for the not!ebay upgrades. That, and some of the goals for making the arcade machines more popular.

The "management" side is pretty bare, and there is no real CHALLANGE in that side of things. You'll find you start making tons of basic dollars very easily, and there are no real negative consequences for anything. This is basically a "Hey, collect a bunch of off-brand arcade games and play them!" kind of game.

The story is very barebones, but what is there teases at so very much! I would personally love to see a companion novel to this, maybe going into more detail about certain spoilery details that will not be mentioned here... but that is getting a bit off topic and this has been rambly enough.

TLDR: It's cute and fun, but gets a bit grindy later!

PS: Try the Konami Code on the title screen! UwU
