Fun + Light Racing Game
I got this once it went on sale and it's been a fun ride. One MAJOR plus is that the entirety of the story mode is voice acted, so you won't be stuck reading everything. If you love the characters in the FF universe, there are a lot of familiar characters for you to unlock and see some silly dialog on. The racing itself is not super difficult and the courses have all been fun and thematically pleasing. I think anyone would like this game if they want a racing game that isn't super competitive. You can unlock everything just by playing the game now and without any DLC or micro-transactions, so give it a try if you like racing games.

Great Racer
Great racing game from Square-Enix. This brings back memories to playing the original Chocobo Racing on my PS1 as a kid.

Finally Square has made a great cart racer.
Me and my daughter are absolutely loving this game, I love all the Final Fantasy characters we can play as, and the levels are really fun. So glad the game has 2 player split screen for Grand Prix mode. Allows both of us to earn coins/tickets to go towards are favorite racers.

Great Sequel to a Classic!
Chocobo Racing on the PSX/PS1 was an all-time classic and a hidden gem of that era. ChocoboGP brings back the nostalgic memories of it and adapts to a modern nature & culture of arcade hero racing. While it does have some issues with unnecessary added mechanics others described, they are/have been addressed.
