Nice controller
My joycon didn't work well, then I choose this Hori split pad to replace it, and my surprise was that this is amazing, better than the originals ( in my opinion). The only inconvenient I see is that, it is bigger than the regular joycons.

What I'd wished the split pad pro would've been, for the most part
I bought the cyber double when after two years, I'd finally gotten tired of having an entire list of games that got all of about 1 1/2-2 hours of battery life with the split pad pro attached on a fully charged switch, as well as the general fact I'd put my switch away with them attached when I went somewhere, and I'd be down to 90% an hour later when I wanted to get it out just from their absolute battery hunger. I was looking for something big enough not to cramp my hands up in handheld mode, but with it's own battery and I stumbled upon this. Now, I couldn't find much for english reviews of the product, perhaps including those around me that seem to be /for/ the split pad pro, however cyber gadget's reputation as a company is solid enough I gave it a shot, and I'm glad I did. No english instructions on how to pair it obviously, but nothing a photo of the manual and about 45 seconds of waiting for it to run through google translate couldn't help, however for future buyers who'd rather not fiddle with getting the manual unfolded just right for a good pic, you just plug it in with usb, go into your settings and set the usb connection option for a pro controller to on, go into the change grip/order menu in controllers, then press home and y at the same time to turn it on and let it pair. Works just fine unplugged after that, and has functional battery remaining readings in the switch controller menu, something several other 3rd party wireless controllers I've used in the past lacked. It also is genuinely a very comfortable controller for use when docked, a little smaller than a pro style, but not uncomfortably so, and as someone with both larger hands and longer fingers, I actually find I prefer it using the joycon style placement for the home/capture buttons as a tv mode controller, where they're out of the way of anything you'd regularly use when gaming, as opposed to the pro style of having them a bit under and to the side of the +/- ones, no more accidentally taking random screenshots when I'm trying to send a message in a monster hunter lobby, or sending myself to the home screen when I'm trying to enter...well, most game's menus for me. That said, there is one possible con. I say possible because I'm not unwilling to accept it as user error due to using a google translated manual, and that is that while home+y turns it back on fine, it does not automatically re-pair 90% of the time, however for the sheer comfort, ease of active use, and the sake of my battery as I do use it in handheld mode often, I have no problem with just re-entering the grip/order menu via touchscreen then turning it on, as it will reconnect just fine that way. Seriously, the best controller I've ever used for just about anything on my switch that isn't youtube due to most videos being long enough it'll idle off. I originally liked the idea of just using it for handheld, but it has quickly become my player 1 option for all my games in tv mode too, highly recommend if that one con is either acceptable or you believe your japanese good enough to see if there's a better way.

most comfortable wired controller I've ever used
I actually own two versions of the HORI splitpad; the pair released for Daemon X Machina, which have permanently replaced my Switch's joycons for docked mode - and now, this pair plus the wired attachment. In both instances, I've found the HORI Split Pad Pro to be the most comfortable controller I've ever used. Some may find the VASTLY wider grip more cumbersome or uncomfortable, so be aware.

The buttons and sticks are very high quality as well and are INCREDIBLY reliable. The reprogammable buttons on the underside of each piece are easy to reach and use, but also don't get in the way if you aren't using them.
This controller works perfectly for both the PC and Switch, but don't expect any functionality on Xbox or Playstation, since it's designed for the Switch.

Colours are nice and simple, which is pleasing.

The best Control out there.
This control is astonishing. sadly it only works attached to the console but that's the point, right? Programable buttons are a great help for those jump and aim games and it's the most comfy i've ever tried, Totally worth it.

Best way for playing in handheld mode
The joy cons are bigger and much more confortable to use than the original ones.

It only could be better if it was possible use in docked mode.
