Probably great but...
I'm sure other people have had success with this protector, and on the whole I'm sure it's good.
However application is a pain in the ass and I ruined mine trying to get them to sit correctly (all the tabs make the borders unclear), remove the air bubbles, remove errant dust (ended up with dust stuck to the damn film), etc.
If you've got a steady hand and superb vision, then great you'll do fine. For me, waste of time and money. Thanks Hori, but you let me down this time. And now I'm still without a screen protector. The touch screen film doesn't even cover things fully for chrissake.

Excellent Protector; Somewhat Unclear Instructions
These protectors are really good and fit the smaller New 3DS perfectly. I was a bit confused about the instructions, but the new application method is a better way of ensuring less dust makes it through. I made some mistakes on the touch screen, though, and I wish Hori would include more than one set of protectors for the asking price.

I see no visible difference between this and my 3DS XL, which is protected by a normal Hori screen protector. However, I find myself with less eye strain using these protectors and it's much easier to fall asleep even after playing for hours. It feels as though the blue light reduction is working, but I have no way to factually verify that.

Nice protector
This protective film is of very high quality, extremely easy to apply using simple, but nonetheless genius procedure of 4 steps (great job as always, Hori). Apply order numbers are clearly marked on filters themselves so even if you do not understand Japanese, you can apply it easily. Clings tightly AND cuts away blue light (that is very good for your general health and sleep cycles if playing before the bed, just do a little online research, it is worth it)

Overall an awesome product, well worth the higher price.
