Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Scarlet

Took a while to arrive and I had to pay abusive taxes (thanks to my country) but I finally got it and the game is great, you spend time with Marie Rose (and other girls), give her gifts and play minigames with her such as pool hopping, butt battle, volleyball of course and others. There is also a casino which seems to be the main source of income for the Owner (Owner and Girl money are separate).

This version however is censored, it's missing at least 1 swimsuit I know of and some mechanics such as the fans seems to be missing so beware, I haven't played the switch version yet to compare what exactly is missing which I'll do after I get a bunch of Marie suits in this version first.

Choose wisely which version you want to get, Scarlet has Lei Fang and Misaki but is censored, Fortune only has Misaki but appears to not be censored and the switch version has both, isn't censored but is capped at 30FPS, so it's a "pick your poison" situation.

I'll say I'm tired of not being listened by Koei Tecmo when it comes to the release of this game in the west, this will be the last Koei game I buy until I see the words "Dead or Alive Xtreme" on the Steam store of my region (and I'll buy it a third time).

The game is great for what it is. I'm having fun while taking pictures and scaling satisfaction through minigames.

There’s something about the laid back atmosphere of the Xtreme games that makes them extremely good chill-out titles, and this one is no exception. Grab a beer, put your feet up, and enjoy playing volleyball on the beach, shopping at Zack of All Trades, making friends, and making money at the casino! I do miss the jet ski racing mode that was in DOAXtreme 2, and the soundtrack isn’t quite as good as Xtreme 1 or 2’s either, but the game is still loads of fun, even if it does kinda force you to perve on virtual teenage girls in skimpy swimwear sometimes in order to progress further in the game.

I found the mini games to be fairly simple by design but still challenging enough to keep me engaged and wanting to play them over again. The characters and costumes are absolutely stunning, and overall I found the game to be fairly entertaining and one I truly enjoyed relaxing with. For DOA fans or for those who like games with a chill atmosphere with cute girls and fun beachtime and casino mini games, I’d strongly recommend this one for you

If you like fanservice-y games, then you’ll love DOAX3. It’s very much like the other Dead or Alive Xtreme games with girls in swimsuits, beach volleyball, and gambling. It doesn’t have every activity from every previous game (for example, no slot machines like in the first game). The minigames offered are a great time, even if most of them aren’t particularly deep; but is that what we’re really here for? The extra photo modes are also a treat if you want to take some snapshots of your favorite girls in the game in a particular setting or outfit. Overall the game is a great time and can actually be a fun way to get into the main Dead or Alive Xtreme games (the first DOAX got me into playing Dead or Alive 5, which is a fun fighting game with the spice you expect)! Overall, if you know it’s your kind of game, then Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is a great buy!
Also- I highly recommend buying Scarlet instead or Fortune (especially if they’re at about the same price), since Scarlet includes two additional characters!
