In a world ravaged by a deadly virus, half-zombie Reid must survive not only by taking an axe, weedwhacker—anything he can get his hands on—to hordes of the undead but by growing some zombie followers of his own. Hack and Slash with a touch of farming
It's rare that I enjoy a game as much as I'm enjoying Deadcraft. I'm still playing it!
The game is whacky and never takes itself seriously at all. The combat is simple hack and slash, and you can have multiple zombie pals dragging themselves after you to fight for you. you can craft zombie turrets called peashooters to mow down mobs. You can plant tomatoes, water them with Z-blood and create weird vegetables for your crafting and cooking needs. The skill tree is HUGE and there's just so much to unlock. Everything you do always feeds into the delicious feedback loop of crafting > learning skills > improving
It's delightful and you can make it as easy or chaotic as you want through the skill tree. Please, please give this whacky gem a try
