Free Shipping on the Death Road
Take it from someone who's swam in a nauseous sea of samey indie dreck for nearly two decades: this game is easily amongst the cream of the crop, right up there with Nuclear Throne, Hyper Light Drifter, Spelunky, Hades and Downwell. Does the Oregon Trail influence justice with risky decisions, engaging action, catchy little ditties, amusing characters & traits, serviceable pixel art and a surprisingly good local multiplayer. But above all, this game exhibits a rare quality: a funny sense of humour that actually works for the experience rather than dragging it down. (Too many indie games have jokes or references that quickly tire, grate the player, lack good taste and smack of a serious lack of foresight.) DRtC is easily in my Top 10 indies and is a perfect fit for the Switch, especially on the road.
Also, the irony is not lost on this Leaf that shipping is FREE. I therefore ask our government in parliament to nominate Death Road to Canada to become an official part of our National Cultural Heritage.

Great to play with a friend!
Fun games, great to have them on cart! Although I had to use a guide to even have a chance with finishing the game. Hard and fun.
