Great conversion, just love it
I played Deathsmiles on my Xbox 360 10 years ago, and doing it again on modern consoles is just as awesome as it was in the old days. If you love shmups I think you should get this collection. I just love the art style of this gem, is one of the best things about it, it's really eye candy. Plus, it has english.

No title
As a SHMUP novice, I can't speak about the minute details and technical aspects of this game. But as someone playing Deathsmiles for the very first time, I have to say that it's a fascinating collection.

In terms of artistic direction, music and story, both games are wholeheartedly weird and have this charming low-budget vibe to them. Gameplay wise, there are enough versions of each title to tinker around with and plenty of ways to adjust the difficulty, which means that anyone can see the game from start to finish. I'll admit, the short playtime makes it temping to replay over and over again, all while aiming for a better score.

The first game has a distinct Halloween theme, while the second is set during Christmas. I found myself waiting to play them during their respective holidays, and it really helped set the mood. Overall, it's a quirky experience that I've been compelled to play again and again. I'd definitely recommend it to genre veterans and curious newbies alike.

Good conversion
It is a decent conversion of the arcade versions, version 2 of the game in console mode, it is the weakest of all, but its strength in this compilation is the arcade modes because its conversions are perfect

Great Port
Heavily played through the first Deathsmiles back in the x360 days, but having 1, 2 and the MLB versions of these games is a much added bonus!!
