Great Figures for a Great Price
These are a great set of 3 figures that have a lot of play value. I recently discovered the Frame Arms Girl line of model kits and came across this site and these figures. This is the first time I've purchased something from the Desktop Army series and from Play-Asia and I'm really happy with the purchase.
They have a surprising amount of detail and articulation in a pretty small package. I really like the fact that you get all three since it comes with a good amount of weapons, optional head parts, optional joint parts, and a stand for each figure. These can all be mixed together to create some fun custom designs. I also really enjoy that there are pre-painted parts and facial expressions. This allows people to build them straight out of the box with no additional work and still get a great looking result.
My only complaint is due to the fact that the main figure is pre-painted, some of the holes that you'll attach the armor parts into are very tight. On each figure, I had to use my hobby knife to shave the edges of the holes to make them larger to fit the plastic armor pieces. This wasn't too frustrating, but I would warn people to take their time and be careful when building these figures to avoid putting too much stress on the plastic and avoid breaking any parts.
Overall, I'd recommend this to anyone who enjoys building model kits, specifically mecha model kits, Frame Arms Girls, or a Mecha Musume figures and wants and wants a fun addition for their desk or display shelves.
