Dragon Quest

The peace of fair Alefgard has been shattered by the appearance of the nefarious master of the night known as the Dragonlord, and the Sphere of Light, which for so long kept the forces of darkness in check, has been stolen! It is time for you, a young warrior through whose veins flows the blood of the legendary hero Erdrick, to set out on a quest to vanquish the Dragonlord, and save the land from darkness!
Experience the first episode of the DRAGON QUEST series loved by millions in Japan and worldwide! Created by a legendary trio with the master creator Yuji Horii, the revolutionary synthesizer score and orchestration by Koichi Sugiyama, and art by master manga artist Akira Toriyama.

Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line

A century has passed since the events of the first DRAGON QUEST, during which time the descendants of the hero of Alefgard have forged three new nations. But the peace they have known is no more. Demon hosts summoned forth from the darkness by High Priest Hargon have brought the land to the brink of ruin once again. Now, the young prince of Midenhall must set out to find the other two descendants of Erdrick so that together they might defeat the nefarious Hargon and restore peace to their world.

Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation

On the morning of your sixteenth birthday, you are charged with a seemingly impossible task by the King himself: to assume the mantle of your father Ortega, the hero of the land of Aliahan, and slay the Archfiend Baramos, master of darkness! What trials await you, intrepid hero, as you set out on a quest not even your legendary father was strong enough to complete?

JRPG collection must have
If you are a JRPG fan Dragon's Quest is a well known series. European gamers like me did not have the opportunity to play this series on a home console before 2005, Dragon Quest VIII: Journey of the Cursed King for PlayStation 2.
This collection of the first 3 chapters of the most famous Japanese RPG series, finally translated in English, is a unique opportunity to feel the start of all. I know it's a kind of nostalgia trap: minimal graphics, outdated interfaces and all oddities of the 8 and 16 bit era. If you are a JRPG gamer and you want to explore the history of videogames, I recommend this collection without hesitation.

Absolutely fantastic games
All three games work great, they’re fun to play, they’re all in English, and it’s great to have all three games on one cartridge.

Nice to have physical copy
I was happy to purchase this 3 in one of classic nes remastered games. They are mobile ports but still fun to play in my opinion. The only problem I have with mine is the cover was not in English but the games themselves are. To my knowledge you can find English cover art for this online.

Great place to start Dragon Quest!
I've been a fan of the Dragon Quest series since i played Dragon Quest 8 for the Playstation 2. After i played that game i wanted to get into the other DQ game, and found this collection to be a great start to the first trilogy. Granted you can get the trilogy cheaper and separately on the nintendo eshop, but im a collector and decided to get the physical game. The games are ports of the mobile versions so they are not perfect, but i still think this is a good place to start with DQ.
