Love this game
I purchased the Chinese sub, so obviously I can speak Chinese. It is just that I can type English much faster than Chinese. Also the English version haven’t release yet. Anyways onto the review:

Obviously the best game ever, with this uniques anime style Minecraft with story tutorial to go through many things. The story mode really help you understand this game better, unlike Minecraft which have you start nowhere no idea what to do. I honestly cannot stand the look and art work of Minecraft, therefore never spend time on it. This game, I can easily spend hours on it. I owned the first game, which is an parallel world from the original Dragon Quest 1. This game has many improvements from the first game, if you like this game the first is also worth checking out.

Great Game!
My son of six and I have enjoyed DQ Builders 1 for more than 100 hours. And for two weeks we have had an awesome time in DQB2. The latest game is immensely improved, we have dropped our jaw daily upon all that new an awesome stuff we have discovered! The new blocks, especially water and magnet atm. The citizens helping you out and you them. They have daily routines and need stuff such as dining rooms, washrooms, hot tubs for evening bath etc! The game is better in both small and big mechanics, such as level system, stamina bars and improved combat system, funnier story!

But perhaps the most awesome feature is to finally be able to enter other players islands! The player made worlds are ranked by votes and there are already hundreds of jaw dropping worlds to enter! Also there is online multiplayer, but we haven’t tried it yet!

Tips.
You can play and enjoy this game even if you do not understand japanese. There are lots of pictures that make the objectives self evident and even if you get stuck, then check out the youtuber BenXD and his longplays of this game. He have made lots of DQB2 videos in english, highly recommended!

Final verdict, we loved DBQ1 and if you did too, you should consider getting your hands on this asap, even if its the japanese edition.

Best Minecraft Spinoff
Game is very simple and fun. Yes it might be a Minecraft rip-off, but it has a lot of Dragon Quest fun with it. You will need a heavy knowledge on Japanese to understand the game because you will need to be able to read the quests and materials.

Excellent game
This game is so much fun, i really think it beats any other building game that tries to add story and quests to the formula.
So easy to play you don't actually need to know japanese, is so intuitive if you have played games like terraria or forsaken isle, and still feels old school.

One of the best open-world games for the Vita
It's a really nice blend of Minecraft and Dragon Quest, with a distinct emphasis on town building. I wasn't quite sure what to expect when coming in - but I ended up getting a very enjoyable Dragon Quest spin-off. Definitely worth your time.
