Earth Atlantis is a side-scrolling shooter with an original "Monster-Hunting" gameplay. Search and hunt down dreadful sea monsters and explore the post-apocalyptic underwater world. Unlock multiple ships with special weapons and abilities for your journey and become a legendary hunter!

The game is presented in a very unique and artistic "Old-Sketching" visual style, which expresses the essence of the 14th century's ocean exploration when the sea was considered a dangerous place full of monsters.

Earth Atlantis Manual

I was one of the lucky ones that got his copy without the manual. It's worthy to mention how play-asia took this matter seriously and shipped the manual along another later purchase. So, finally my limited edition, of this really nice game, is complete.

A Decent Shmup

Firstly, as always, the packaging for this game is stunning. PA exclusives are always beautiful. The game itself is a mixed bag though.
Pros:
Visually stellar and a nice contrast to the predictable look of most shmups
Although the OST is small, each song is really good
Great boss variety and volume
Adding an adventure component to a shmup was a really good idea
Cons:
Exploration is often a chore as objectives require a lot of lengthy, pointless backtracking
Damage is poorly managed as contact damage can instantly kill you in conjunction with the lack of invulnerability frames
The unlockable ships are really lackluster, only one brings a real combat advantage, the other two are poorly balanced and don't offer much even at full power

Overall I think it's a really fun game, but I would only recommend it for people who already love shmups as it won't make non-shmup enthusiasts fans of the genre.

I Love thr Art of Arth Atlantis

The Art of this game caught my attention to play it and it turned out to be an engaiging game couldn’t put it down .. i finished on Nintendo switch handheld mode and now playing it on ps4 . Fantastic game
