Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising (Multi-Language)

For the price it was definitely a no brainer on getting this game for my Switch game library. Also the Switch version is very sought after and one that again glad to own. Pretty much a classic style RPG/JRPG game for gamers who grew up playing these types of games when they came out and still show their quality and entertainment value. This is one game that gamers should get before it's too late and they're left with regret for not having done so.

I've always been a fan of side scrollers and this is great you run around doing quests for ppl and fight enemies and explore new areas it has RPG elements added in in which you can level up your 3 characters and over all its a good game I recommend it to anyone who likes anything to do with side scrollers this is right up your alley.

I have been a Suikoden fan from the beginning. Though this game is not the same as those games it still holds the charm. I am happy to own a physical copy and am happy to support the writers/developers. From what I understand, this game is a prequel to the game to follow called Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Perhaps this one should be played first. A playthrough for this lasts about 16 hours according to another source.

A lovely game from the team that brought us Suikoden. It's not the same combat style as the previous games from the creators, but it still retains the same charm and lovely characters

Hello everyone 😄. I would just like to add a few thoughts about my time so far with eiyuden chronicles rising. Being a suikoden fan in the 90s and RPG fan overall I was very excited to here about eiyuden chronicles 100 heroes for my Nintendo switch and even more surprised to hear it was being developed by ex konami staff! So to my surprise again it was great to know a head of the main game tba is this nice little side scrolling 2d RPG eiyuden chronicles rising!. You start in an area of the 100 heroes world a frontier town ( if you can call it that at this stage lol) called I believe new naveah? Your main character a spunky young woman named CJ you arrive at the frontier town wide eyed looking for adventure in the nearby rune barrows over time you will meet other characters including garou a kangaroo wondering warrior ( I thought I'd seen it all 🤣). Plus many other colorful characters!. I really enjoyed the simple nature of the game being a light hearted warm up for the larger 100 heroes game for later this year there is a lot of fetch quests in this game but I like that so it was fun travelling around all the beautiful locations gorgeous forest interiors dark caves monsters lurking around every corner lol this game reminds me a lot of the earlier ys game's by falcom so for me that is a plus. You will also spend a great deal of your time in naveah slowly rebuilding and dealing with disputes between the villagers in time you can upgrade shops the local black smith inns weapon and items ext.... I think the best way to finish up is don't go into the game thinking it's a grand adventure but more of a foothold into the future bigger game's 100 heroes and the one after that. That way you won't be disappointed I have been playing rising for 30 hours so far and their is still much to do 😄 don't get me wrong there is still a fun journey to be had so again as long as you can get past alot of fetch quests and town building aspects your in for a treat 🙂😄 I recommend this game to any RPG fan plus the suikoden fan's out there there is much fun to be had with this little gem but first you need to dig under the surface to find it and perhaps like me you will be hooked?. I give and again only my opinion eiyuden chronicles rising an 8/10 visuals are bright colourful the controls are smooth plus lots of beautiful locations oh I forgot to add with your 3 character in battle which is action based each person will be assigned to a different button abxy you can perform single or combo chain attacks you also level up through gaining experience in combat. Well that's it thank you if you managed to get to the end of this lol as you can probably tell it's my first review 😄 but hey we all have to start somewhere lol.
