ANOMALITH is a survival third-person shooter set in Japan, blending Showa-era retro aesthetics, liminal spaces, and supernatural horror. Players follow Reona Minazuki, a girl searching for her missing friend after mysterious Anomaly Zones begin appearing across the country, drawing her into a world filled with strange phenomena and dangerous creatures.
The gameplay focuses on exploring hazardous Anomaly Zones, battling hostile entities known as Anomalies, and managing limited resources while investigating the mysteries behind these distorted environments. Players must carefully balance combat, ammunition usage, and item retrieval as they venture deeper into increasingly dangerous areas.
Between expeditions, players return to a base where they can prepare equipment, replenish supplies, and strengthen their capabilities. Featuring surreal locations, supernatural threats, and a story-driven investigation, the game combines survival, exploration, and third-person shooter mechanics within a psychological horror atmosphere.
