"100% Pure LP" is a special Made in Japan product introduced in 2012 and recognized worldwide as a pioneer of modern high-quality records. One key feature is the use of uncolored virgin vinyl that removes all coloring materials such as carbon used in standard analog records, ensuring greater molding stability through pure straight vinyl chloride. Another feature is the metal master press method, which eliminates the metal mother and stamper steps and presses directly from the metal master to achieve extremely faithful groove formation, though production numbers remain strictly limited due to lower durability. This release also adopts 45 rpm instead of the standard 33 rpm LP speed, resulting in a two-LP set to accommodate shorter side durations while allowing wider and longer grooves, improving stability and providing advantages in detail reproduction and volume richness. The audio source uses newly transferred WAV files from the original analog master tapes or digital trackdown masters prior to CD mastering, mastered as flat as possible to preserve freshness and dynamic range while pursuing natural sound faithful to the original recording.
