Gravure idol and cosplayer Marina Amatsu's fifth photobook is now available. She made a huge breakthrough when she began cosplaying under the mysterious catchphrase "2.5D Model Amatsu-sama," a character who may or may not actually exist. In 2020, she changed her name to "Marina Amatsu," "reincarnated" into the human world, and has since appeared in an ever-increasing number of gravure magazines.
This work explores the theme of "real or fiction." In an age where the creation of non-existent characters has become commonplace, this work explores what Marina Amatsu, who appears in the world as "2.5D = between reality and fiction," can express. The photobook was shot in Bangkok and the outskirts of Pattaya, Thailand. In two cities where nostalgic and futuristic scenery and hustle and bustle intersect, the duality of her "daytime face" with a Madonna-like smile and her bewitchingly beautiful and immoral "nighttime face" are captured. The film features not only the classic gravure setting of a beautiful remote island beach, but also challenging situations such as a neon-lit club, an abandoned hotel, and a bed in a high-rise hotel late at night, as well as a stunning array of fetishistic and sensual outfits that only Marina could pull off. She also shows off her underbust and hips in her most daring yet...! The entire film is a must-see.
