Item Description

Enter the world of pastel colours with Meruru. The little princess is going to make her country prosper through alchemy. She brings some glittery magic with her into the game. Figure maker Tachibanagawa Tefu then gives her magic a solid shape. Standing before a bubbly background, Meruru waves collectors closer. The use of colour is one of the most remarkable aspects of the Atelier franchise. The figure is painted loyally, all the gradation of rainbow hues below her mantle are brought out. The flowers that decorate her outfit looks soft to the touch and every curl in her hair looks alive and bouncy. Clear materials are used to create the gem stones, shine a light on her to see them sparkle.

Some improvements over Totori
A very nice figure. Unfortunate that they went with a plain base over their previous alchemist, Totori, but at least they improved on the design, like the dynamic stance and the face... Oh the face doesn't look too off like Totori. Still could do some improvements, but still a great figurine if you are a fan of Meruru.

Also, this figure looks mostly good on all sides unlike Totori.

Quickie and objective review
The figure matches Meruru pretty well, not exactly like her, it has 2 little differences that I do not mind at all, basically, her legs are a bit wider and her breasts a little bit bigger. In other words, they made her a little less child looking.
Also, the figure is a bit taller than it should, compared to my other 1/8 scale figures she should be like 1 or 0,5 cm shorter.
The base is kinda plain... actually, extremelly plain.

Other than that, its pretty good, painting is good, I didn't find any imperfections. Looks good and has enough details.

Must have for every Atelier Fan
It has a great build quality with lot's of details, perfectly capturing the image of Meruru
