"BABYMETAL's Metaradi!" debuted on TOKYO FM in January 2025 as BABYMETAL's first regular radio show.
From hardcore metal fans to "secret metal fans," the show welcomes guests who are BABYMETAL's metal-loving friends, commonly known as "Meta-tomo," to expand their circle of "Meta-tomo." The book features conversations with 16 "Metatomo" groups representing various genres in Japan, including Taka (ONE OK ROCK), Tak Matsumoto (B'z), Maximum the Hormone, HYDE (in order of appearance), and current Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi, also known as a "metal drummer" (a member of parliament at the time of the appearance). This rare collaboration, centered around "metal," has been realized.
The book also includes new visuals shot specifically for the show, anecdotes with the "Meta-tomo" they met on the show, and interviews with the members discussing the latest BABYMETAL, which has been powered up through their world tour.
The show is packed with content, including introductions to metal songs recommended by the guests and an interview with producer KOBAMETAL.
