Stunning
This is my first PVC anime statue. I'm very happy with the product. The quality of the statue is excellent and the paint job very accurate with good, well placed shading and practically no flaws. Also it comes with a gold Shueisha sticker on the package so you can rest assured you won't be getting a recast/bootleg here.

The only minor gripe is a very very thin line of glue visible near one seam (on the butt). Since it's my first PVC statue I'm not sure if the occasional minor imperfection is to be expected, but the quality far exceeds my initial expectations for the price and I'm really happy with it. The product you get is near identical to the advertising images above.

Regarding the character, there are a few Arshes Nei figures I was interested in. Ultimately I chose this one because I felt the sculptor (Ryouichi Ikeda) captures the art style of the anime and manga very well. In this piece Arshes has a soft, slender body, a powerful yet elegant pose, and a somber expression which guards her sensitive and troubled soul.

The other figures available are a little ruder than this one, and even juicer, but this figure is more true to the character and realistic in proportions. The extra torso with torn clothing reveals more of Arshes bountiful charm, and I was exultant to discover you can peel back her ripped top just enough to take a sneak peek ^^

I would not hesitate to buy Griffon Enterprises products from Play-Asia in future. I'll also be looking out for more work by Ryouichi Ikeda. I fully recommend this figure and hope the review will help relieve any concerns for other buyers.
