Item Description

BATTLE GAREGGA 30th ANNIV. REMIX is a special remix album created to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Battle Garegga, the legendary vertically scrolling arcade shooter originally developed by Eighting. Revered by shooting game fans for its deep gameplay and unforgettable soundtrack, the game's music composed by Manabu Namiki left a lasting impact on both the game music and electronic music communities.
Rather than simply revisiting the original soundtrack, this anniversary release reinterprets the music from a club music perspective. The album separates the compositions from their in-game context and reconstructs them through fresh arrangements created by an impressive lineup of remixers, including veteran DJs, electronic music producers, game composers, and artists influenced by the original score.

Featuring contributions from respected names such as HIROSHI WATANABE, Q'HEY, TAKAMI, Shinji Hosoe, Kenichiro Fukui, Ryu☆, and Hommarju, this commemorative release offers both longtime fans and electronic music enthusiasts a new way to experience one of arcade gaming's most celebrated soundtracks.
