Under the slogan "The New Wave in Jazz," impulse! has continuously released groundbreaking works unconstrained by convention. It includes tracks by John Coltrane, one of impulse!'s signature artists whose 100th birth anniversary is celebrated in 2026, as well as Sonny Rollins, who passed away yesterday.
