Good if you're a Bomberman fanatic.
Many of you probably know this game as Wario Blast, which was released in the U.S. and Europe. It's essentially the same game, except this version lacks Wario.
It plays similar to the battle mode in most Bomberman games: You fight against an enemy Bomberman in a best-2-out-of-3 match, then you fight two and then three enemy Bombermen in the same way. A boss awaits after you defeat the enemies, and you get rewarded a power-up for defeating it. The levels introduce gimmicks as you progress (such as ones with bomb-moving arrows, ones with paralysis gas, etc.)
It's a pretty good game; it has nice graphics, catchy music, and plays fine overall. The only problems are that the game can slow down when too much is happening (such as a "Vs. 3 Enemy" match), some might not like the defaut difficulty (which isn't terribly hard) and, as mentioned, this doesn't have Wario. The lack of Wario might be trivial, but it's the only major difference between the two versions, and additions are almost never a bad thing. It also features multiplayer through the Super Game Boy add-on, rather than a link cable (I guess neither it or Super Bomberman were around when this came out?)
It's a great game overall, and worth checking out if you're a Bomberman fan. It's something fun to kill time with.
