Item Description

Capcom Belt Action Collection is an essential collection of beat ‘em ups including Final Fight (1989), Captain Commando (1991), The King of Dragons (1991), Knights of the Round (1991), and Warriors of Fate (1992). Additionally, two never before ported titles make their console debut, Armored Warriors (1994) and Battle Circuit (1997), allowing players to experience these arcade gems at home for the first time. These seven titles exemplify some of the best side-scrolling, co-op fun of the arcade era, and introduced us to iconic Capcom characters such as Captain Commando, plus Cody, Guy and Mike Haggar from Final Fight.

worth getting
At Play Asia’s price its more than worth it just for “Battle Circuit” and “Armored Warriors” when you consider the amount of quarters you have saved. Both these games never made it outside Japan and actually have a more of a plotline than most belt actions games of the 90’s. Armored Warriors has branching options making it worth playing repeatedly. “Battle Circuit” has a customization set up along with its more clearly defined plot is, both of which were not common for arcade titles at the time making it an interesting game. The inclusion of “Captain Commando” and other obscure in the USA titles just makes this steal.

That said these are not easy games to play (I said quarter crunchers for a reason) so expect shedding some tears at boss battles, but at least you are saving some money.

Great collection
This collection has a lot of good games on it and they all have a 2 player functionality and I played 2 games on it so far and they both played great no problems at all so yeah if you like beat-em ups from Capcom then this collection is for you so go get yourself a copy.
