In addition to songs Masaharu Fukuyama has released from 2021 to 2026, including "Sobo" (theme song for the film "Till We Meet Again on the Lily Hill."), "Mokusei feat. Koshi Inaba" which drew major attention with B'z's Koshi Inaba as guest (theme song for the film "Last Man - FIRST LOVE -"), the instrumental theme song "Genkai" written for the film "Black Showman" in which Fukuyama himself stars, "Banyu Inryoku" filled with uncompromising musical experimentation (theme song for Nippon TV's information program "DayDay."), "Ryu" which strongly evokes the spirit of Ryoma Sakamoto whom Fukuyama portrayed in a taiga drama (theme song for the film "Shin Kaishaku Bakumatsuden"), and the newly announced song "Hakushu Kassai" (theme song for Nippon TV drama "Tatsuki: Too Kind for School"), this album also contains further unreleased recordings. This latest work captures Masaharu Fukuyama's current artistic point after achieving major evolution and deepening as a singer-songwriter over the 5 years and 9 months since his previous album. The limited live video edition contains "FUKUYAMA MASAHARU 35TH ANNIVERSARY DOME LIVE 2025 // SOUL," which commemorated the 35th anniversary of his music debut and drew 200,000 people across six performances in three cities nationwide. The live performance at Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka is turned into video with overwhelming scale and precise camerawork using a total of 58 cameras. This video work fully captures the excitement of the dome performance, which sublimates into the theme of "SOUL" both Fukuyama's gratitude to the fans who have continued walking with him for 35 years since his 1990 debut and the songs he has continued expressing. In addition, several latest live video tracks are planned to be included from the April 24 and 25 Nippon Budokan performances of the ongoing nationwide arena tour "WE'RE BROS. TOUR 2026 Ryu, Kaminari Sunawachi Koe wo Hassu," from a set list mixing new and old songs such as "Ryu" and "Tsuioku no Ame no Naka." Two non-commercial guitar picks, "SOUL" and "Kaminari," originally produced for each live show, are also specially enclosed.
