Seven years prior to the events of FINAL FANTASY VII — The Shinra Company is rapidly increasing its influence through its monopoly on mako energy and military might. Poor Zack
Final Fantasy 7 prequal game, very short about 15-20 hours in length, with 100s of side missions. I suggest playing the missions first, as many as possible to get better materia such as curaga, firaga, thudaga earlier than what you would in the main story mode. Can't stress enough

Woa.
I wasn't expecting too much when I popped this into my PSP. It had been yeaars since I completed FF VII. I didn't put the game down for 3 days, got finger cramps and cried at the end. One of the the few games I've experienced that melds a unique gameplay mechanic together with the story to heighten the emotional response from the player.
