Item Description

This is the first full album in about a year from the prodigious Mao Sasagawa.
His previous album, "STRANGE POP," released in 2025, exploded with even more alternative sounds after passing through hyperpop. In this new album, released about a year later, he crosses genres even further, presenting a collection of indescribable songs that embody the alternative sound that springs from within him. It also includes "Kaikoshugi Watashi," featuring voice actress Hiratsuka Sae as the sole guest vocalist. With this work, he once again updates his music, which is dangerous yet inclusive and belongs to no one in particular.
The Blu-ray version comes with a Blu-ray disc that fully captures the footage of his solo live performance "Hikari no Soko Dai 5-so" held at Tokyo Kinema Club in August 2025, along with the energy of the sold-out venue.
