I never played the original so I can't compare the two versions. Overall the game is pretty good with gorgeous art and very nice voice work. The only real problem here is the price since it's a bit steep but this VN seems to be quite long so it's well worth the value in my opinion.
If you're looking for a typical Japanese romance VN with high school students then you've come to the right place.
