Death Smiles II, the sequel to the hugely popular Death Smiles is coming in May. This is not only a port, but a upgraded version. The graphics are updated to full 16:9 HD splendour. Look at the screen shots, the gothic fantasy world and their fire spitting monsters have never been so beautiful.Besides visuals, we have two more characters, Roza, affiliated with a fairy and Foret who has a dragon. Let's see what stories and their special bullets they have.Meet the new monsters and bosses. The Xbox360 version has two new stages, Meiro - Shiroi yami no naka (Labyrinth - In the White Darkness) and Hairakuen - Mihatenu yume no kuni (Forgotten Paradise - Land of the endless dreams). Fly into them and test your skills against the new bosses Tartarus and the Mad Teddy and Bunny.This is a game everybody can enjoy, like the previous installment, you can choose the difficulty settings according to your own skills.The limited edition comes in a beautifully illustrated box and an original soundtrack CD.

Bullets are return!
If deathsmiles 1 as very good, with this second edition is marvelous; tons of options, arcade, xbox360, arrange modes and more included!, play co-op off or online

Another Cave-Highlight
I liked the Prequel and I like Death Smiles IIx even more! The Graphics are not as good as in Death Smiles but the Bullet-Patterns are better and you have Fullscreen Mode in X-Mode!

I can really recommend this game to all Shooterfans!

Don't believe the negative hype!
Cave stretches out in this sequel and unusually - for them - adopts a polygonized graphical style & tweaks in gameplay that does take some getting used to but ultimately proves rewarding, especially the unique X-mas motif that runs throughout the game.
Whilst the first Death Smiles is probably the better and more challenging game, the sequel isn't that far off and contrary to the opinion of jaded shooterati, is definitely worth your attention. Nice!

Death Smiles IIX!!!
Amazing game, just pure fun and nothing else! more better than the 1st part. If you like SHMUP games, you shouldn't miss it!

Great shooter!!
Great graphics, but limited gameplay, and short game... anyway, one of the best exclusive japanese 360 games... hope there´ll be a 3rd...
