Item Description

Expanded and enhanced, SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked for Nintendo 3DS builds upon what many considered one of the best RPGs of 2009. The player is presented with a novel premise: Tokyo is in full lockdown, the government's swift, coldblooded response to a surprise demon invasion. While you and your friends must solve the nature of the interdimensional rift through which the horrific creatures are entering your world, saving the world is not your highest priority; staying alive, on the other hand, is.

Over Clock = Upgraded.
Having gone through the first game, it was nice to experience the whole thing all over again with voice acting. Looking forward to the additional day that it has to offer.

Great game, but...
Good game, but if you've already played through the original there is not much going on for you here.

That said, this is the definitive version of this game. If it's you're first time playing through, it might be worth it to spend the extra money to get this version. The voice acting is very well done.

As others have said, this is NOT in 3d, which was a disappointment to even a hard-core MegaTen fan such as myself.

Waiting for the Persona title to come out on this system and hoping Atlus does us a solid and actually releases it in 3d.

expensive, and not even in 3D although it was released in Nintendo 3DS. The gameplay is so-so for me.

NOT 3D, not greatly expanded
I was not aware when I bought this game that there is no 3D content to speak of. Why port this to the 3DS, then? Why not simply release the expanded version for the DS, so that (a) many more customers can enjoy it, and (b) you can play any version of the cart on any region's system?

Fans of the game may well be excited by this somewhat expanded re-release (especially the added voice acting), but, well, dammit, when I order a 3DS game, I expect that there'll be at least a moderate amount of 3D content. This was fairly lazy work on Atlus's part.

No matter how great a game Sony's ICO and Shadow of the Colossus were, would we have been happy if its PS3 port had remained graphically identical to the PS2 original? Then why should we be happy about a barely-touched port of a DS game to the 3DS?
