In a world awakened from eternal sleep, the one who proposed was an android that looked exactly like his beloved girlfriend. Akira Himegami, a high school boy who awakened from cold sleep, witnessed an unbelievable sight before his eyes. A city devastated by war. A declining nation, and people managed by a unified organization called OWEL. A new system called Elsie that is different from marriage. People who have changed far too much from the world he once lived in. As Akira stands stunned in this future, a familiar figure appears before him—Yuugure, who bears a strong resemblance to his girlfriend Towasa. Smiling gently, she expresses her wish. Akira, please marry me. Though confused by the sudden proposal from an android, Akira decides to set out on a journey together with Yuugure, believing that he will reunite with Towasa somewhere in the world.
