Item Description

Three years after the victory on a dying Earth.

In 2024, humanity won the battle against the unknown invaders "Primers" that lasted for two years. The Primers have left and the silence returned to the Earth. However, the population was reduced to 10%. Civilization was on the brink of collapsing. And those who survived to continue their efforts to recover.

Three years have passed, in 2027. Humanity faced another problem. The Primers left many aliens (Colonists) on Earth. They formed a group and occupied the cities to survive and settled on Earth.

Humans and aliens constantly fighting with each other. And through the continuous battle, the two races grew tired of each other.

And the remaining threats.

There was an even more serious problem. The invaders continued to breed on Earth.

The invaders formed a nest underground and its ruins continue to increase. And their numbers have already overwhelmed humanity. Humanity had to keep fighting so that the invaders would not rule the Earth.

The rebuilding of society and revival of the civilization is progressing slowly, and each day is a struggle to make that day a reality. Humanity continued to fight against the remaining threats.

The BEST title in the series yet!

Did you want more weapons? Check. More vehicles? Check. More enemies to kill? Super check. You've got well over 100 missions here to chew on with much replayability like the previous titles without question. On top of all of this the plot this time around is much more interesting than before. Rest assured when this gets a Western release I'll be double dipping on that! EDF!!

Latest and greatest from Sandlot

Its more EDF! What more could you want? It has improved lots of things over 5, some nerfs were handed down, Air raider got a bit of a bonk, but over all things feel really good. Progression feels better (but works the same way as in 5). The plot is even more bonkers than 5, you can follow the big points using google translate video mode on a tablet or smartphone.
If you liked any of the EDF games you will definitely like this.

The best EDF yet! Fairly importable.

EDF6 has some nice improvements over 5, including smoother graphics, more environmental detail, tons of levels, and completion progress being shared between online and offline play (which hasn't been done in the main series since EDF2). The menus and dialog are all in Japanese, but Co-Optimus has an English menu translation guide that makes navigating menus easy. If you can't wait for the official English version of the game, the Japanese version is totally worth picking up and will provide hundreds of hours of fun.
