The add-ons were great, but at what cost?
I bought Final Fantasy XV right when it first came out in North America in November of 2016 and I have now decided to buy the Royal Edition. Its cool that they let you play stories from the perspective of the other characters, but I payed a full price for the physical copy of this game. I guess I would recommend this version of the game if you are a die-hard Final Fantasy fan and love owning physical media. P.s. I bought two copies because a friend wanted a copy as well.

The definitive version
After a lot of back and forth with this game, this is the version to get. The story-telling has been touched up a little to be more coherent, the DLCs are included and some additional post game content. Now we can say it is a very good game after all. Looks gorgeous and the characters will stay in your heart, even if it doesn't seem so at the beginning.
